At the beginning of 2012, I had decided that I needed to do more than my usual routine of group exercise classes and lots of cardio. I toyed with the idea of joining my gym’s personal training program, but I never felt comfortable to start. Shortly after I was put in contact with Lindsay. I saw her personal training program and her personality put me at ease in starting my weight loss process. Lindsay created my own personalized program of cardio homework. Each of these cardio workouts increased, as I was getting stronger. Lindsay demystified my thoughts of women and strength training and I looked forward each week less on how much weight I lost, but how much stronger I could get. Lindsay knows when to push and how hard to push you during each of these sessions. To increase my progress, I started Lindsay’s nutrition program which I saw a significant jump in my weigh loss. I’ve lost a total of 16 pounds and continue to keep Lindsay’s nutrition training in mind. I try to challenge myself now in grad school to think outside the box and if I ever need inspiration for an intense and motivating workout, I just think to myself “What would Lindsay make me do?”
