About

I discovered my love for fitness at a young age while being active with sports and activities such as gymnastics, basketball, track and field and cheerleading. Upon graduating from high school, I chose the path of Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise (HNFE) and obtained my Bachelors Degree at Virginia Tech. I was very much involved as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor at Virginia Tech and became certified through ACE (American Council on Exercise) and AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America), respectively. I further pursued my education career by receiving my Masters Degree in Exercise Science at Georgia State University on a full scholarship while working at Georgia Tech as the Fitness Graduate Assistant for their Campus Recreational Center.

I entered the corporate fitness world working for ClubOne at the AOL Headquarters’ fitness center as the Assistant Program Manager, Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, but my true calling was Personal Training, which I have since pursued full time for the last 11 years.  I am strongly passionate about my work and believe that there is no greater reward than that of helping others in achieving their goals.

As one of my passions and my love for the sport of competing, I have competed in several fitness model, figure and bikini competitions.  Although I no longer compete, I continue to train religiously, coach and train competitors and noncompetitors.
